Public Transit
Go Green: Take Transit!
Leaving your car at home reduces air pollution, greenhouse gases, traffic congestion, road rage, and the aggravation and cost of parking.
Our community is well-served by the TransLink public transit system, providing options such as local bus service, SkyTrain, Seabus and the West Coast Express. Car and bike parking is available.
Bus service
The #180 bus service provides pick up and drop off locations along Glenayre Drive.
This route connects Lougheed Town Centre to Moody Centre Station along North Road, Clarke Drive, and St. Johns Street, with a loop through Glenayre and nearby neighbourhoods.
It connects with the SkyTrain at Lougheed Town Centre, Burquitlam and Moody Centre Stations and with the West Coast Express at Moody Centre.
SkyTrain
The SkyTrain closest to our neighbourhood is located at Burquitlam Station. Bus service will bring you to the station or you can enjoy a pleasant 20-25 minute walk to the station.
West Coast Express
A commuter trail service running from Mission to downtown Vancouver in the morning, and Vancouver to Mission in the afternoon. This service provides 5 departures Monday to Friday during peak hours from:
Moody Centre Station - 6:15 AM to 8:15 AM heading west to Vancouver Waterfront station
Waterfront Station - 3:50 PM to 6:20 PM heading east, with Moody Centre Station as the first stop.
Even Greener: Self-propelled!
Better still - walk or ride your bike. It's good for you AND good for the planet!
All TransLink buses are equipped with bike racks; folding bikes are permitted on buses when the bikes are folded.
Bike and car parking is available.
Online trip planning is a breeze!
Please see the TransLink Trip Planning Tool to assist you with accessing public transit.
